Sniper, kills brother
By: Kayatheri Parameswaran
Last evening, approximately ,8:45PM, there was a dead victim found on the sidewalk, identified as a soldier with a bullet through his forehead. He seemed to have fallen from the top of the roof top, after the enemy shot him down.
Desmound Furgus exclaimed, “I cant believe… I… shot my brother like that.” While interviewing him after word he briefly mentions, he shouldn't have ever been involved in this war. I don't know how my mother would react to this situation, he was always her favorite.
Other soldiers, whom are friends with Furgus’s brother, Alby Scott also report that, he was shot minutes before the machine gun had arrived in the battlefield. On the scene, of the battlefield, it was said that there was a dead reporter, along with a former soldier dead in the military vehicle. It is assumed that Furgus also shot them being the only one identified at the scene at the time.
Mother speaks out about sons death, “ I’m not mad, at Furgus, he didn't do it on purpose. I knew when they were going in to War, one or both wouldn't come back. It has come down to this and this is what we must live with. My son will always be remembered for his amazing courage , and for fighting ing for his country.
The funereal will be held, Saturday and the cremation will be held on Sunday. It is open viewing for any outside guests to come. For more information, please contact Furgus at 647– 567– 9067 or email furgus87@rogers.com.
