Slam Poetry #4) The Secret Life of Bees

 Slam Poetry: Racism

Maybe one day, just one day they'll realize its not knives in our pockets, its change.
Enough hearing about black youths killed every day! They are no harm.
Its what society has caused, all this name calling and labeling.
What did they ever do?
They are no different from us.
Why do we make such a fuss?
Maybe one day, just one day, we'll realize how many youths have died.
Don't judge people, because there different from you, because they don't look like you. talk like you or even think like you.
People are different, they don't always have to be like me and you.
ACCEPT ALL! DON'T JUDGE.
Society will change, but first the people must change,
Maybe one day, just one day they'll realize its not knives in their pockets, its change.
